The increasing incidence of atrocities and killings for protesting in several states of North India is alarming. Another thing is the run away of teenage students from home. It is clear that these people eventually fall into the hands of anti-social elements and the girls end up in the flesh-trade (human trafficking) racket.

A large section of psychologists believe that parenting styles will have to change in the age of the Internet. The easy availability of videos that mislead moods and thoughts is a major reason for this new disorder among the youth.

It is true that cheap internet is a boon for free coaching of poor kids today. But parents also have to be aware of what the kids are actually using it for, especially in a private area, at night with friends. At the district level, the government, police and education department officials have to caution the parents in this direction through the teachers.

According to a psychologist, parents admit that their child does not get good marks despite studying late at night. However, parents can not see the purpose for which the internet is being used. Most psychologists believe that a new consciousness about parenting is needed across the country.

The Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) had said in the 'Mann Ki Baat' program two years ago, attracting the attention of parents, 'Parents keep an eye on girls, but don't ask sons what they were doing outside the house for hours in the evening. In this context, the need to emphasize on children sweating in the playground in the evening was also told.'
